The National Bike Registry has been working hand in hand with law enforcement in order that bikes being stolen get returned to their rightful owners. The NBR is a national database and bikes registered that have been stolen will not be auctioned and instead returned to the owner. A bike is an investment most especially the expensive ones and registering it with the NBR is tantamount to protecting an investment. When registered, the owner will receive a tamper resistant label to help identify the bike and a certificate of registration.
