It is important to keep your self hydrated at all times. Our bodies after all are composed of 75% liquid if you so happen to forget about that tiny little detail. When you are out biking or cycling, or whatever it is people like to call it these days, it's even more important to keep yourself hydrated. Think about it; if you can recall a single Gatorade commercial, you might also remember that essential liquids and nutrients that our bodies need are somehow lost as we perspire. One way to recover those lost nutrients and all is by rehydrating yourself or in layman's terms it's called drinking water. When you go biking, it's actually quite easy for you to experience some perspiration – especially when you exert a whole lot of effort. For you to try and keep yourself hydrated, you should think about bringing along with you a water bottle the next time you go on out and stretch those legs a little bit. 1. You can't exactly pass by a seven eleven or a gasoline station every single mile. It's better to be safe than sorry people always say. So when it comes to water or whatever, you should always bring along with you a canister or water bottle that you can always reach out for whenever you are feeling parched. In fact, your bike might actually have a placement just for that. This is definitely an important accessory that you should always have for all those times that you can't pass through a stopover or simply just because your throat just needs to have water as soon as possible. It's always good to know that you have an option to drink water even when you're cycling through the most secluded of places or roads. And since the water in your bottle is quite limited after all, you should also know how to budget it accordingly. 2. When you do happen to pass by a convenience store, gas station or stop over, you can fill that bottle of yours up till it's full. You can't just rely solely on your water bottle for rehydration during the course of your whole bike trip. You'll probably run out of the good stuff ten miles into your destination. Just like any good driver, you always need to refill those tanks if it is running on empty already – the same thing applies to your water bottles as well. Since bikes don't run on gas, you need to make sure that you have enough water in your tank so you could reach wherever it is you want to go with enough strength and energy to do whatever else you need to do. 3. It's always better to have it, you know. Think about it; it's what everybody does. Children bring water jugs to school, soldiers and their water canisters, even hunters with their hydration packs. Being a cyclist yourself or even simply just the occasional biker, you should never, never venture out too far if you don't have water along with you. |
